Uplifting the Community Through Strategic Partnerships
CVE is proud to partner with many outstanding organizations in San Francisco to provide comprehensive services and training to a wide variety of stakeholders. By working together we can leverage the expertise, energy, and commitment of our partners and serve more individuals with greater success than before.

REDF (formerly The Roberts Enterprise Development Fund)
CVE and REDF began their partnership in 1996, when CVE was selected as one of REDF’s portfolio organizations. REDF’s commitment to investing in organizations dedicated to alleviating poverty and homelessness led to its adoption of CVE. For 10 years, REDF provided CVE with access to capital, financing for organizational infrastructure, strategic business development assistance, networking opportunities, social outcomes measurement systems, and technical tools and training. Today, as a REDF alumnus, CVE still benefits from and contributes to the REDF network. This unique relationship allows CVE to create greater opportunities for individuals to move out of poverty.

CBHS (Community Behavioral Health Services)
CVE partners with the City and County of San Francisco’s Community Behavioral Health Services to facilitate the referral and delivery of vocational services to transitional aged youth and adults recovering from mental illness. We are part of a culturally diverse network that offers a full range of specialty mental health services provided by community mental health programs, clinics, and private psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists.

DOR (Department of Rehabilitation)
CVE’s partnership with the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) leverages the collective strength of member agencies and DOR offices. This relationship enables CVE to provide a comprehensive array of vocational training and placement services, including vocational assessment, situation assessment, work adjustment, job development, placement and retention, job coaching, and occupational skills training.
