Training and Support

CVE, Inc. (Community Vocational Enterprises) creates and locates vocational opportunities for individuals with mental health disabilities. CVE serves a variety of populations in San Francisco within this group: homeless individuals, ex-offenders, and individuals with substance abuse issues. CVE also has special programming for mono and bilingual Spanish speakers and youth. The goal is to help these individuals integrate successfully into the community through innovative employment training, placement, and support services.

Philosophy
We go beyond diagnoses and labels to see our clients as people with tremendous potential- people who are entitled to work and who are able to recognize and realize their possibilities. The simple concept of trusting people to make choices about their lives lays the groundwork for a relationship of mutual respect and a working partnership.

Services
CVE provides a wide range of support services designed to enhance a client’s success, in addition to hands-on training in one of our business enterprises.  Follow this link to find out how to receive services at CVE.
